Goodmorning from the adirondacks

This summer has been super busy for me. Between getting this blog going, work, and moving my dad out of his house it’s easy to get caught up in the fast pace hustle of life.

When I start to get tense or begin to lose my daily appreciation for the small things I know it’s time to get away.

Here is a picture from a small coffee shop near Keene. Getting ready to head out into the mountains. Today we will be doing Algonquin, Wright, and Iroquois peaks.

Despite the heavy thunderstorms that are about to roll in the hike goes on. Less than ideal conditions teach us to surrender to the parameters of life that are beyond our control.

What do you do to unwind on your weekends? How do you tell when you need a break?
